Textures

Jumper & Dress: Matalan (Don't knock it till you've tried it!),
Bag: Euroline, Shoes: Dr. Martens

This was so super cosy, the turtle-neck wool jumper kept me really warm whilst the jersey midi dress gave me a nice breeze...which I needed when shopping in Stratford Westfield's. For those of you not from the UK, its East London's biggest shopping mall, and boy is it ram packed! Luckily being small I can just slide and duck along without getting in the way, hehe! The bag was something I found in my sister in laws basement, something they got years ago from one of those catalogue company type things, but it couldn't be more perfect for this season with its burgundy colour, and I love the corduroy detail. This is probably my last outfit post till the new year *sad face*, as I've had to return the camera for Christmas, however I'll hopefully nick someone else's and do a post or two. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and thinking of the NYE outfits!!!

Christmas Gifts

A few gift ideas for her...if you've got a quid or two! I am obsessed Givenchy's rottweiler anything, and ESPECIALLY the idea of having this iphone cases *hint hint Sam...* Also how awesome is this NARS 3 eye-shadow palette collection? These items aren't for the careful spender...but don't you worry I shall soon do a post for the more realistic present buyer this Christmas!

Fashion Friend of the Week: Jessica

Coat: Zara, Sweater: Vintage, Leather Skirt: Vintage, Gloves: Primark,
Shoes: Zara, Scarf: Urban Outfitters

Remember when I mentioned my friend Jess four posts back? Well here she is, and isn't she beautiful? I've always told her she carries such an air of grace and elegance from her style to her way of talking, pure class. I adore her bright coat from Zara, looks so comfy!! And of course what outfit is complete without a tight leather skirt?

Nastygal

Wow, Bambi Northwood-Blyth could not look more beautiful if she tried in the new Nastygal December lookbook! This is such a fun shoot, love the 60's inspired hairstyles and especially love the last photo...need those leather overalls in my life, oh lordy!

All images belong to NASTYGAL

Sporty Stiletto

Top: Topshop, Blazer: Zara, Sweat Pants: Urban Outfitters,
Socks: American Apparel, Shoes: Zara

Friday morning was a surprising outfit choice for me, I only recently bought these Sparkle & Fade ripped jogging bottoms from an Urban Outfitters sale and at first I wasn't sure...me and sport luxe isn't a usual combo. However, when I tried them they were SO comfy, and I thought I'll play around and see what I can do to make them more 'me'. So I paired them with a grey crop top (yes, I was slightly cold but no pain no gain!) A grey peplum style blazer from Zara, knee socks from American Apparel and finished it off with a pair of pointed stilettos also from Zara. Probably very impractical to have a walk in a forest with heels, but don't worry I bought my trusty worn out converses with me! My lovely friend Mark shot these pictures, and can I say how awesome is his exclusive OBEY hat?! I kept my make up minimal, with just no.7 BB Cream, white eye-liner and a bit of bronzer...shame about my hair I really should start brushing it some time soon...

Food Glorious Food

Leigh on Sea has some of the best cafe's I've ever been to! Only takes an hour (40 mins on a faster train) from London to get there, and instantly feels like you're somewhere else, as its so quite and still compared to the hectic, fast paced city life of London. The breeze coming in from the sea and the large green spaces, its not the Essex you think it is (Ay TOWIE?) My two favourite cafe's are 'The Squeeze' and 'Stop the World'. They both do such tasty food, that always feels healthy at the same, especially The Squeeze who has a menu dedicated to just super food shots! I previously got delicious poached eggs on toast and mushrooms with my daily hit of caffeine!

Stop the World is possibly one of the cutest if not THE cutest cafe I've ever been to...The interior is so lovely I will defiantly need to take some pictures to show you. They have glorious cakes surrounded with more cakes with added bonus of...MORE CAKES, HEAVEN!

Psychedelic

Hat: H&M, Jumper: Sparrow, Skirt: Topshop (here) Coat: Vintage, Glasses: Brick Lane Market, Shoes: Dr. Martens

Hello munchkins, I was feeling particularly groovy today wearing my two most recent purchases. I bought this amazing wide brim fedora hat from H&M the other day, I've always wanted to own a floppy hat tehe, and this was such a reasonable price! And secondly my new paisley patterned psychedelic skirt, with a wonderful dip pelmet detail from Topshop. With the 'pimp' fur coat as I like to call it and my favourite teashade glasses, this whole look felt very 'sixties hippie'. I wish I could wear this hat everyday, however with the awful wind it kept blowing away every 5 minutes...so embarrassing. I also took pictures of my bestie Jess, who is so stunning I can't wait to show you all her! That will be posted Sunday as part of 'Fashion Friend of the Week' so keep your eyes peeled!

LOVE & PEACE

Pure and Simple

Jumper: Barbour, Scarf: Vintage, Jeans: Topshop, Boots: Topshop, Quilted Bag: Mango

What cold weather it was today, I might have been wishful thinking wearing just a jumper, although I had two layers on underneath! I met a friend for lunch at St. Paul's and he took a few pictures, the first photo is the only one that had all of me in frame (I'm not just vain using pictures of my face haha!) But he is practising *wink, wink* I'm wearing an old jumper from Barbour, and I really love it. It keeps me so warm, and every time I wear it I feel super cosy. I paired it with my trusty acid wash skinny jeans from Topshop, its great because it ACTUALLY fits me length wise, I don't even have to roll it up! And this patterned scarf borrowed from my mum, who borrowed it from her mum and so on...So it has a lot of history, and I just like how it goes really nicely with the cream jumper. Oh and excuse the cheesy 'Pure and Simple' I swear its not inspired by the awful Hearsay song!!

Fashion Friend of the Week: Leanne

Crop Top: Boohoo, Jacket: Vintage, Jeans: Asos, Shoes: Dr. Martens

This is Leanne, my pretty pretty friend that I was out with as mentioned in the previous post. As you can see she was freezing in her mini crop top, but I have to say I do love Autumn, the crisp leaves freshly wet from the rain, the frozen air...but then of course at the same time its muddy, damp and bloody freezing! I will do a 'Fashion Friend of the Week' as often as possible...until I run out of fashionable friends! And I just had to start with Leanne, I love her look. Every. Single. Time. She never gets it wrong, a very natural style. The forest in Snaresbrook is lovely, and I especially love the last photo the reflection of the trees on the water looks so purtyyy! I'm enjoying taking pictures and improving hopefully.

Denim on Denim

Jeans: Vintage, Shirt: H&M, Shoes: Dr. Martens, Jacket: Vintage

Hello everyone! Finally have another outfit post, me and my friend Leanne (who will be in the next post) went out Friday afternoon to a forest near her house in East, and snapped up some images! Neither of us are professionals so some have wrong composition and framing (so Sam says!) but I'm happy to keep practising my photography skills and hoping to keep improving! As I mentioned previously, I was going to try denim on denim and so here is the result! Because they're different shades, I think this look works, and its simple which I really like...but really what is going on with my pose in the first photo? Look like I could run for president or something hehe.
