Break

I suppose you could say I've been taking a break from blogging...having just started a new job and having little to no spare time (also no actual camera) its been a little crappy to be honest! Amazon screwed up my order so eventually I didn't get my DSLR, and truthfully I've been hesitant about continuing theundersized. However I'm not going to suddenly stop enjoying fashion and all that jazz so here is a little spam of what has been inspiring me these past few months, whites, leather, denim and 90's everything (I officially own 2 scrunches as of now.) Also I FINALLY found a pair of dungarees that fit (they're for an 11 yr old but hey, whose judging?) Anyways, maybe I will buckle up and post an outfit soon...

London Fashion Week

Top: Miss Selfridge, Trousers: Zara, Jacket & Glasses: Vintage, Shoes: Dr. Martens

Last day of London Fashion Week. I still haven't got my camera (sad face) but my wonderful friend Wilma snapped these up on her Sony, check out her blog HERE. I think I was inspired by Charlie Chaplin/Boy George. I don't know anymore, I've recently started work so I've been so tired trying to get used to hours etc...but as soon as camera arrives there shall be lots of posts, I promise! Its getting sunnier as well so just need the warmth now too and then it shall be purrfect!

Lots and lots of love

LFW

SYDNEY-DAVIES
The collection was full of beautiful and bold prints, with a key focus on love and war as an undergoing theme. Having migrated from Sierra Leone 9 years ago, Fifi has worked her way up to have her first ever London Fashion Week show and it defiantly won't be her last!

My second favourite collection was the stunning handmade lace and silk creations by Sonata Lingerie, the fabric fit the models delicately making sure to flatter their bodies, the whole collection in general was of course very sensual and felt luxurious. Check out her website and shop around for a belated valentines surprise for the other half...

On Saturday I attended my first 'Fashions Finest' show during London Fashion Week, this event is great for discovering and raising the profiles of new and exciting designers. I was lucky to attend as I have recently got in contact with the wonderful design brand Sydney-Davies, having interned with Alexander McQueen and basically being a one man band (she does all her sketching, sewing, marketing and business!) She is extremely gifted and I already know big things are going to happen for her, I went along and snapped up some images (tried to anyway, being a near midget really screws up life lol) unfortunately forgot to ask someone to take my picture, and I'm not going to lie I looked tots cute. Oh the shame. Anyways, my camera should HOPEFULLY be arriving tomorrow, and I might also be going along to the rest of LFW to interview fellow bloggers etc... We shall see, I will come out of this cave I promise guys!

If Only

Sorry I have been so so bad with updating, not only is it because I haven't got my camera yet but also because I've got a job! Well, 3 jobs. Kind of. Basically I haven't just been sleeping...a lot of new & exciting things are going on and I just want to figure things out than I promise all my focus will be on here, because I really want to progress with theundersized this year. I'm loving NYFW and so incredibly jealous, although weather by the sounds of it is very cold!
Next week should be awesome as I'm going to the Sydney Davis fashion show, more about that very soon!
I'm going to go now because The Baftas is on and I think I want Christopher Waltz' babies.

Black and My New Hat

Hat: H&M, Bomber & Midi dress: Topshop, Scarf: Miss Selfridge, Rings: Vintage Markets

Yesterday me and Jessie were meant to go to the V&A, you know get some culture and knowledge...instead we stumbled into Harrods (whoops) It really is like another world in there, a magical world with unicorns, rainbows and Chanel bags. I'm thinking to start a collection of hats, I really enjoy wearing them (even if my boyfriend thinks it makes me look even smaller...) And this new one purchased recently from H&M is defiantly my new favourite! All these were taken with my phone as I'm still waiting for my DSLR! And I must say I'm going surprised by the image quality from the iphone!

Happy Happy Happy

That is my exact mood right now. I' am so thrilled because I have JUST purchased the Canon 550D DSLR with its standard 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens! I've heard great things about this camera, from its stunning image quality to its really easy use for photography beginners, which I technically am! As its my 20th next month, mum bought me an early birthday present (eeeeek) so I can finally start shooting on my own, and get practising, and of course so I can also use it to take style images for this blog! Who wants to dance with me to celebrate?
No? No one?
Also, how amazing is the Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture S/S 2013 collection? The wonderful silk and leather, thigh split and cuffed sandals...this is sexy and its defiantly not understated.

This Is Getting Silly...

Top & Riding Pants: American Apparel, Mono shirt: Next,
Boots: Yesstyle, iphone case: Urban Outfitters

So this is what its come to. Crappy selfie from instagram. I blame only myself...should have DEFIANTLY bought a camera...instead of goodness knows what I spend the money on! (most probably food) Yesterday I actually got the chance to get a few snaps whilst at Sams, but (through no fault of his own may I add) lets just say grainy is not even the word for the photos. It was so dark inside, don't know why I fooled myself into thinking it would work! But its okay, I suppose I'm being quite melodramatic, its not the be all and end all of not having amazing HD photos all the time...I'LL SURVIVE!
Anyway, I have a few exciting opportunities coming up, freelance work with a designer mainly...but fingers crossed it involves attending London Fashion Week! Which would be great (and only my 2nd time!) I'm thrilled with how the blog is progressing, of course still very brand new but I have a good feeling about something! Okok I shall stop rambling, this is the part where I talk about the outfit? Urm riding pants because its not like I don't already own about 2 million pairs of black trousers from American Apparel (sarcasm and slight exaggeration) Teamed with their button up shirt, and added this black and white graphic shirt on top just for good measure. Also, you can't see very well...but I'm wearing a 90's scrunchie.

That's right.
Its happening.

love and cuddles

Check Me Out

Shirt: Vintage, Trousers: H&M, Trench: Burberry Brit, Necklace: Forever 21

Excuse the lame title. I blame Sam (love you babe) Last night we took some snaps in the snow, in the very dark. Lets just say most of them came out very blurry/flashy but I managed to pull a few out to show you. Perhaps my pants are too bright, meh I love them! And I found that the red in my tartan shirt matched perfectly! My beloved trench also came out to play, perhaps just for the infamous Burberry check pattern peeking through at times...It's just so gloomy and yucky in London, and I'm so so ill again! Hope you're all doing better than I am :(

Déjà vu

This was my first ever outfit post...(which was only like two months ago...) But desperate times call for desperate measures! My cameraman is far far away and my friends say its too cold for pictures (what?! its NEVER too cold!) I had exciting thoughts about the snow making such a lovely backdrop to my tartan outfit, urm never thought I'd be saying that sentence...Anyway, here is two 'outakes' if you will from this previous post, possibly my favourite shoot so far! You would have thought I'd get better each time?!

Nope.
